About Friday (Jummah) Prayer
Friday is the most blessed day of the week for Muslims. On this day, adult Muslims gather at the mosque for a special congregation prayer called Jummah. It takes the place of the regular afternoon Dhuhr prayer.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged Muslims to read Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays for spiritual light and blessing. Sending extra Durood Shareef on Friday is also highly recommended.
